Learn MORE - Synflex
Synflex America was founded in 1999 by J.R. Rogers. In 1993, J.R. fell off a two story building and ended up with Spinal Stenosis and secondary arthritis in his neck. He tried everything he could find, but little helped and what did help often had very serious side effects. A friend of his was using a prototype liquid Glucosamine to treat his thoroughbred horses.
J.R. began passing out samples to his friends and they were astounded by the results they were getting. He knew that this product was one that belonged in the hands of everyone who suffered from OA. He then founded Synflex America. Beginning in July, 2001, Synflex® was first made available to the general public worldwide. It has been an incredible success with a rapidly growing audience of direct purchasers and wholesale buyers. In fact, Synflex America is the largest direct-to-consumer retailer of liquid glucosamine in the world.
Unlike the majority of the glucosamine products found on store shelves today, Synflex® was not rushed to market. While most companies were scrambling to put their brand in the competitive pack, the developers of Synflex® were continuing their research to make the best product for you and your pet’s arthritis treatment and joint pain relief. While other companies focused on profits, they took an extra eighteen months to develop Synflex® to perfection.
They did not offer up a less expensive and ineffective pill or capsule formula, where quality is easily disguised.
Synflex has taken the utmost care to ensure they provide the highest quality, most effective product. To do this, they use only the highest quality and purest ingredients. In fact, they use 98% pure liquid glucosamine, with ten other high quality synergistic arthritis-fighting ingredients. In addition, each batch of Synflex® undergoes a laboratory analysis to ensure ingredient quality and efficacy. To note, each batch of Synflex® is issued a certificate of analysis and is manufactured in a GMP certified lab.

REASON 5 / INGREDIENTS backed by science
The first tests on liquid glucosamine for arthritis were completed in 1998. The testing made clear that the absorption rate and bio-availability of glucosamine in pill form was significantly less than in liquid form. The misconception that pills are the only, and best, way to obtain glucosamine is simply not true. Pills and capsules contain glucosamine that is in powder form. It is a well known fact that liquid is absorbed much better than powder, at a rate of 80-85% absorption. In short, glucosamine chondroitin in liquid form is absorbed faster and it provides greater impact.
The reports on the use of capsule or pill forms of glucosamine vary greatly. Synflex users' testimonials prove over and over that Synflex is the best glucosamine supplement. Combining glucosamine and chondroitin to simply excel in the treatment of joint pain and osteoarthritis for over a decade and in over 100 countries.
Synflex® has a long and very successful history on the market since 2001. The formula was developed by Synflex America, Inc in 2000. Since then, Synflex® has become America's most trusted brand in the treatment of osteoarthritis. The product is now sold in over 100 countries and there are over 1 million bottles sold.
(top of page)REASON 6 / contains LIQUID glucosamine
Glucosamine is a charged sugar molecule that is a key component of the extracellular matrix of cartilage (grout between the cartilage cells). It absorbs and releases water with each step, thereby acting as a shock absorber for the joints.
Glucosamine is a natural sugar produced by your body. It is the essential and principal ingredient that determines the quantity of proteoglycans (water-holding) molecules that also form in the body. The greater the amount of Glucosamine in the body, the greater the amount of proteoglycans. The proteoglycans are large, water-binding molecules made up of both proteins and sugars. It is important to understand that they are a major building block of healthy, vital cartilage.

general company questions
Why is Synflex® considered to be one of the most effective glucosamine product on the market today?
We have taken the utmost care to ensure we provide the highest quality, most effective product. To do this, we use only the highest quality and purest ingredients. In fact, we use 98% pure liquid glucosamine, with ten other high quality synergistic arthritis-fighting ingredients. In addition, each batch of Synflex® undergoes a laboratory analysis to ensure ingredient quality and efficacy. To note, each batch of Synflex® is issued a certificate of analysis and is manufactured in a GMP certified lab.
I know a lot of people who use it and they all swear by it. What makes Synflex® so effective?
Certainly the ingredients themselves play a major role here. Synflex® uses pharmaceutical strength ingredients. Also, the liquid formula allows the body to absorb the ingredients faster and more fully.
Will I need to take this product daily for the rest of my life, or will I be able to reduce the dosage or even stop taking it at some point?
It is indeed advisable to maintain a daily dose of a 1/4 oz. (1.5 teaspoons) per day. Those over 220 pounds may wish to maintain a higher dosage than this (1/2 oz. per day). If you believe that your arthritis does not warrant a full daily dose, or if you are taking Synflex® as a preventative measure, you may wish to drop the dose in half. Of course, if any joint pain returns or cartilage continues to deteriorate, increase your dosage. We recommend that mostly everyone take a double dose (1/2 oz. per day) for the first 7-10 days.
My doctor specifically recommended taking Synflex®. Are there many doctors who recommend Synflex®?
Many doctors are now recommending glucosamine, and many are indeed specifically recommending Synflex®. Generally, they either use Synflex® themselves or have heard great things about Synflex® from their patients. You can read a number of their testimonials in our success stories.
Why is better, stronger, healthier cartilage important?
When your cartilage is damaged, either as a result of primary osteoarthritis or following an injury (secondary osteoarthritis), you will suffer the consequences. Since cartilage protects the bones from coming into contact with one another, the opposite result is extremely painful. In a great many cases, it can result in surgery.
As your cartilage begins to lose its capabilities, the process of osteoarthritis begins. Whether the result is of aging, genetics, overuse, or injury, some 70 million Americans suffer from this debilitating condition. Whether you suffer from this condition or are trying to prevent it, every step that you can take to avoid the consequences is well worth it.

(top of page)questions about product ingredients and benefits
what are some of the benefits of using Synflex®?
- Help soothe sore, achy joints
- Maintain joint flexibility
- Reduce inflammation
- Stimulate the production of synovial fluid.
- Help maintain the health of existing joint tissue.
- Assist in rebuilding of healthy new cartilage
Does Synflex® have Chondroitin in it?
Yes. It is approximately 20% Chondroitin Sulfate.
What exactly is Glucosamine?
Glucosamine is an amino sugar produced from the shells of chitin (shellfish) and is a key component of the extra cellular matrix of cartilage. Chondroitin is a source of chondroitin sulfate, which is also an important element in the creation of cartilage. Chondroitin sulfate attracts fluids which assists you in three ways:
- It draws nutrients into your cartilage.
- It increases the flow of fluid into the cartilage to add resiliency.
- Blocks enzymes that destroy cartilage.
Our bodies produce glucosamine naturally. However, as we grow older we lose the ability to produce sufficient quantities. Having enough glucosamine is essential to producing the nutrients we need to produce synovial fluid. Synovial fluid acts as a cushion for the joints.
When you have a glucosamine deficiency, cartilage hardens and bone spurs develop, which may lead to deformities in the joints. Your mobility becomes limited leaving you with osteoarthritis.
This was big news to nutraceutical companies and it was the beginning of an all-new segment of the industry. Today, nearly all of the major companies offer their version of glucosamine through a wide range of outlets, from retail stores to medical clinics.
However, in their rush to gain market share companies, they put products on the market with little regard to the overall quality of their offering. Most are deficient because the glucosamine ranges from low to medium quality at best. Most glucosamine on the market today are in pill or capsule form which means that they are not absorbed well into your system, and are therefore not efficient treatments for arthritis=.
What makes liquid glucosamine chondroitin better?
The first tests on liquid glucosamine for arthritis were completed in 1998. Since then, Synflex® has become America's most trusted brand in the treatment of osteoarthritis. The product is now sold in over 100 countries and there are over 1 million bottles sold.
Why are there slight changes in the color of the product?
You should not refrigerate Synflex®. It has a shelf life of at least one year so you can certainly store it at room temperature for that long. A slight change in color happens sometimes. It is simply something that happens naturally as a result of exposure to light.
what ingredients are in synflex®?
Glucosamine is a natural sugar produced by the body and found in certain foods. It plays an important role in the production, maintenance and repair of cartilage. Glucosamine stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans, two essential building blocks of cartilage.
Chondroitin is also an important element in the creation of cartilage. Chondroitin Sulfate attracts fluids which assists you in three ways.
- It draws nutrients into your cartilage.
- It increases the flow of fluid into the cartilage to add resiliency.
- Blocks enzymes that destroy cartilage.
Vitamins A, C, & E are included in approximately fifteen organic substances that are essential in small quantities for life and health. They also act as antioxidants since they block or inhibit destructive reactions.
Manganese (Ascorbate) assists in the processing of glucosamine. It is used in energy production and is required for normal bone growth. Ascorbate is also used in the formulation of cartilage and synovial fluid (lubricating) fluid for the joints.
Omega-3 & Omega-6 (healthy fatty acids) act as anti-inflammatory agents. Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA, DHA, and ALA) are found in fish oil such as salmon, mackerel, herring, tuna, halibut, anchovies, rainbow trout, and are also found in soybean oil, flaxseed oil, and walnut oil. Omega-6 fatty acids (eg., lineolic acid) come from various common vegetable oils. The body converts lineolic acid into GLA which can help reduce joint inflammation.
Boswellin acts as an anti-inflammatory and anti-arthritic agent. Boswellic acids improve the blood supply to the joints and help maintain the integrity of the blood vessels.
Bromelain cleans away "debris" in the joints and restores proper fluid balance. In addition, it helps to inhibit inflammatory compounds which reduce pain and swelling.
Yucca has a long history in easing joint stiffness by blocking compounds that prevent the normal formulation of cartilage. It also acts to purify the blood and is beneficial in inflammatory disorders.
White Willow Bark contains an ingredient called salicin. When introduced into your body it becomes salicylic acid. In an arthritis product, it assists in reducing inflammation. As well, it helps reduce prostaglandins which cause pain and inflammation.
The ingredients in Synflex® Liquid Glucosamine are all natural, gluten free, and contain no fillers like other glucosamine products on the market.

(top of page)questions about side effects, contradictions, interactions
Can I take Synflex® if I have a shellfish allergy?
You can take Synflex®, as long as glucosamine hasn't been a problem in the past. The antigen in shellfish that causes an allergic reaction has been removed from Synflex®. Nonetheless, we encourage you to consult with your physician before using glucosamine. In fact, new research has shown that glucosamine is very unlikely to cause an allergic reaction in someone allergic to shellfish. In most cases, allergies are caused by proteins in shellfish, not chitin, a carbohydrate from which glucosamine is extracted. Furthermore, there is no crossover between the acid derived chitin from shells and the antigens that cause shellfish allergies, since the acid process required to leach the chitin from the shell strips away the carbohydrate side chains that would be antigenic.
Does Synflex® interact with any drugs or medications?
Synflex® is an all-natural product and should not interact with any drugs or medications.
are there any side effects?
Synflex® is a very safe product. There are a few things you need to know:
- Consult your doctor before taking glucosamine if you are currently pregnant or nursing.
- Current medical literature indicates that diabetics may use Synflex®. However, you may wish to monitor your blood sugar levels or consult your physician.
- If you are allergic to shellfish, you should monitor your reaction and discontinue if any adverse affects occur.
- A small percentage of people who take glucosamine may encounter light diarrhea or stomach upset. This can be avoided by splitting the dosage between morning and evening.
questions about dispensing and dosage
Dosage for Liquid Glucosamine for Humans
The recommended daily dosage for humans is 1/4 of an ounce per day of liquid glucosamine formula Synflex®. You may wish to double the dose during the first 10 days to a 1/2 oz. for maximum effectiveness and arthritis pain relief. If you are over 230 pounds, you may find that staying with a 1/2 oz. daily dosage works more effectively.
A 1/4 oz. is equivalent to 1.5 teaspoons (or one half of a tablespoon). To measure this accurately, Synflex® includes a measuring reservoir.
Remove both caps and remove each seal. After this initial process, you simply need to open the reservoir cap and squeeze until the level of liquid reaches the desired amount. There is a 1/4 oz. and 1/2 oz. marker on the bottle. Once it reaches this level, you can either pour the liquid onto a spoon, mix it with your favorite drink, or take it straight from the bottle.
